3 Advanced Tips for Using Google Forms

Google Forms is a versatile tool that can be used for everything from surveying customers to creating quizzes for employees. If you're new to using Google Forms, these five tips will help you get the most out of this handy tool.

1. Collect payments with Google Forms.

Many of us are making a Google Form for things that might also require payment.  Things like event registrations, t-shirt order forms, summer camps, pizza days, ect.  Did you know that you can use Google Forms to also collect payments?

Page breaks also make it easier for you to organize your form into different sections.  To add a page break, simply select "Add Section" icon in the vertical toolbar when

3. Use logic jump to give users a personalized experience.

One of the great things about Google Forms is that you can use "logic jump" to send users down different paths based on their responses. For example, if you're using a Google Form to survey customers, you can use logic jump to send follow-up questions only to those who indicated they were unhappy with their purchase. This allows you to save time by not bombarding all of your respondents with the same set of questions.

This allows you to skip over questions that are not relevant to certain respondents. For example, if you're surveying employees and one question asks about Job Title, you can use question branching to skip that question for respondents who select "Other" as their job title. This ensures that all of your questions are relevant to every respondent, which makes for a better survey experience overall.

Conclusion:

Google Forms is an incredibly versatile tool that can be used for everything from surveying customers to collecting payments. By taking advantage of features like logic jump, question branching, and page breaks, you can save time and create a better user experience for your respondents. So what are you waiting for?
